Zwönitz, 3 November 2025 - As part of a pilot project, CLAUSS® has digitized an extraordinary gold ring from 1961 in extremely high detail resolution. The piece of jewelry was made in Dessau and stands for an independent, often little-noticed development in jewelry design in post-war modernism.
Every year, the Paleontological Society honors special fossils with the title "Fossil of the Year". This not only highlights their importance for science, but also recognizes the work of the people and institutions that find, research and exhibit these fossils. For 2025, the choice fell on a particularly remarkable fossil: the fossil shark egg capsule Fayolia sterzeliana from the Lower Carboniferous of Chemnitz-Borna and Chemnitz-Glösa.
In December 2019, the private philanthropic Seaton Foundation carried out a project to digitally document Saryazd Castle. The aim was to document the castle in its current state for conservation and preservation purposes. In addition, the images can also be used for research purposes by scientists who are unable to visit the site.

From 17 January to 7 February 2022, a team of digitisation specialists from ARCHiVe and the Factum Foundation digitised the Hall of Giants, the Hall of Cupid and Psyche and the Hall of Horses in high resolution. The data obtained with the help of LiDAR, photogrammetry and panoramic photography will belong to the Fondazione Palazzo Te and contribute to the documentation, conservation, research and dissemination of the halls. In addition, this data will also be used for future innovative exhibition projects.
